Order Edits & Cancellations
- Orders may be edited or canceled for a limited time after they are placed via your order status page, typically the same day you placed the order.
- A link to your Order Status Page can be found in your order confirmation email.
If you need assistance, please contact us at support@akamaibasics.com as soon as possible. Once an order has been fully processed or shipped, we are unable to make changes or cancel it.
Shipping (U.S. Orders)
- Free USPS standard shipping on orders $60 or more (after discounts).
- Orders under $60 ship for a flat rate fee of $7.95.
- Orders ship within 48 hours (excluding weekends).
- We cannot guarantee exact delivery dates. Any shipping or transit times provided by Akamai Basics or USPS are estimates only.
- Tracking information is sent to the customer via email once the order ships and once it is delivered.
Damaged, Missing, or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged, is missing items, or we made an error, we will replace the item or issue a refund at no cost. Please contact us within 30 days of purchase.
International Orders
- We currently ship to Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom.
- International orders are shipped via DHL eCommerce Parcel Direct or DHL Express Worldwide. Please note that delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed.
- If your order arrives damaged or is officially declared lost by the carrier, we will issue a refund for the product or shipment. We are unable to send replacement orders for international shipments.
Returns for Unopened Products
- We accept returns of unused and unopened products within 60 days of purchase (less our shipping fee of $7.95, $11.95 for AK or HI).
- A return shipping label can be provided upon request, and the cost of the label will be deducted from your refund.
- Once your return is received and inspected, we will refund the purchase price of the product(s).
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
We are unable to accept returns of products if the original packaging has been opened or if the order was placed more than 60 days ago.
Used Products
If you tried a product and it wasn't the right fit, you may request a store credit or refund within 60 days of purchase.
- No return is required.
- Applies to first-time purchases of a single item only (not multiple quantities of the same product).
- For orders that qualified for free shipping, we will deduct our flat rate shipping fee of $7.95 ($11.95 for AK/HI) from the refund.
- First-time purchases of the Mineral Toothpowder are covered separately under the 60-Day Challenge below.

- Refund or store credit requests must be submitted to our customer service team within 14 days of completing the challenge.
Our customer service team reserves the right to offer a store credit, partial credit, or refuse to refund the product to prevent abuse of our guarantee.

Our products may look and taste different from what you're used to because we do not use synthetic, highly refined, irradiated, diluted, or sweetened ingredients. We put health first and let the 100% natural, nutrient-rich ingredients speak for themselves. We encourage you to give our products a real try (particularly with our oral care).
