Known for many health benefits, witch hazel is naturally deodorizing, balancing, astringent, and soothing to the skin. The antioxidants, including flavonoids and polyphenols, may help counteract oxidative stress by neutralizing harmful free radicals.

Folk history suggests that the branches were used in ancient times as divining rods to find water and minerals by “water witches,” hence the name.

BERGAMOT ESSENTIAL OIL

Bergamot Essential Oil is extracted from the fresh, green rinds of Citrus aurantium var. bergamia fruits grown in orchards on the southern Italian coast. Bergamot Oil has a refreshing, sweet, and balanced blend of citrus and green notes with light floral and bitter undertones, and is used extensively in perfumery. Emotionally and energetically, it is deeply relaxing, restorative, and calming. It can also help minimize the growth of bad bacteria.

Directions

Directions: Shake well. Spray 1 - 2 pumps per armpit. Let dry. Use as often as you’d like.

Important:  Do not apply on newly shaved skin, as it may cause irritation.

Note: This is not an antiperspirant (which no one should use), and if you have a spike in cortisol (from stress, caffeine, or hormones) the odor may power through the Mineral Deodorant. While this is unfortunate, it is actually your body saying “hey, something is wrong”, and it is important to pay attention to it. You need to chill out, take some deep breaths, and then go wash your pits with soap and water, or if you are on the go, a hand sanitizer can do the trick. If you are smelly, more often without the spike, then it is a worth investigating with your doctor - it could be that you have a yeast infection, or something in your diet, personal care routine, or perhaps you need to switch to natural fiber clothing (wool is excellent) that is naturally odor resistant.

We recommend using baking soda with oil to exfoliate and then gentle dry-brushing to help detox. Mineral Deodorant is a great product!

I very highly recommend Akamai's mineral deodorant as a truly clean (healthy and safe for your body) product that's very effective at minimizing sweat and eliminating odor. In the past with typical roll-on deodorants, I would experience both sweat and odor especially in warm temperatures. I've been using the product for 8 months.

Love this deodorant!

In full disclosure, I personally don’t sweat a lot. Not sure why, I just never have. But with that said, on a hot day, I can get stinky arm pits. Even though it’s not as bad as some, no one wants odor. So I seem to have better results with natural deodorants than some. That said, I love this one. It’s a nice mist spray that smells so good. You could use it as a body spray for a nice refresh. I certainly have and love it.

Love love love Akamai's new spray deodorant. Have tried too many natural varieties to count, all with minimal advantage...BUT Akamai's seems to be doing its job without any complaint (from me or the public)! Yay! Pleasant scent. Will be ordering again.

Finally a natural deodorant that works!

I'm not new to natural deodorant at all and I've tried A LOT over the last few years. This deodorant is definitely different than the rest. I even tried the no deodorant for a bit, but I feel self conscious when going to work, so wanted something to feel confident again. I was happy to see that Akamai finally came out with this mineral deodorant, so I jumped on the wagon and let me tell you, I do not regret my purchase! It works and you don't need a lot. This will be definitely my new deodorant from now on!

Love, love, love this Mineral Deodorant. I was skeptical at first but gave it a try because I like all the Akamai basics products I have tried. I’ve been using the deodorant for about three weeks. This deodorant exceeds all my expectations. It is very light on the skin, big plus in my book. Leaves no residue on your clothing, another big plus. It last from morning to morning right through my morning workout, no body odor, the biggest benefit of all. No skin irritation even after shaving as with other deodorants. My new favorite product! Love the clean, simple ingredients, and applying magnesium to the armpits is a great idea since our skin absorbs what we put on it. The essential oil combination offers a fresh, clean, healthy scent too.
